Last Wednesday, Whitney postponed some dates from her European tour because of an upper respiratory infection and the doctor advised her not to perform. The scheduled performance on Thursday and Friday in the Manchester Evening News Arena, Manchester, England will be pushed back until June 16 and 17 while her concert this Sunday in Glasgow, Scotland will be rescheduled on May 1.
"Doctors visited Whitney late last night in Paris and confirmed that she was suffering from an upper respiratory infection," the statement read. "Upon medical advice Whitney has been advised that she cannot perform to allow her time to recover."
The statement noted she delayed the tour with "great disappointment."
